Last week we got quite a bit of snow, a couple of inches anyway. Our house sits on a hill and so we have our very own sledding hill. Our little outdoors girl was quite excited to try out the sled. The snow was perfect, heavy and wet. The sun was shining and so we took the sled for a spin.
I was surprised at our little hill. Impressed, actually. We whizzed down with great gusto. Unfortunately the hill keeps going. If you don’t stop at our property line you will hit our neighbors raised beds and if that doesn’t stop you, you will find yourself stuck in the thorn bushes that line a really steep embankment and eventually wind up sitting in the middle of a creek at the bottom -if you don’t hit a tree in the process. So needless to say, stopping is very important. Fortunately none of us went into the thorn bushes and beyond. I’d give our little hill a thumbs up for fun!
